Taste: This stainless-steel fermented red blend holds on to medium-density of weight while bursting with flavors of cherries and blueberries and a slight minerality. The finish is smooth with refined and pleasant tannins.
Legend Of The Ranch Story: Texas Longhorn already roamed the Ranch when the Ross family purchased it in 1996. Today, approximately 70 heads belong to the herd, led by an award-winning registered Longhorn bull named Max America. Be sure to ask ranch owner and winemaker Ron Ross about the interesting “friendship” between Max America and Lakota, a 1-ton buffalo who also makes the Ranch his home.
The 2020 Triple R Ranch and Winery Longhorn Shiraz is a masterful blend of Texas Shiraz and Alicante Bouschet grapes. The deep bright medium-purple color sparkles in the glass. This balanced blend displays a bouquet of blueberry, plum, and a hint of white pepper. A burst of red cherry, currant, and plum comes on the palate.
